Wooden tea caddy, possibly Tunbridge ware with inlaid wood and mother of pearl geometric design. Rounded top. Inside two compartments with wooden lids. Green baize on bottom. Has a lock. Would have been used to store tea. The boxes were loocked so the hired help could not get the valuable tea. |
