Description |
A wooden model of the ship HMS VICTORY. The model has white thread for rigging but does not have any sails. The 104 gun HMS VICTORY was a "first rate ship of the line" (a large fighting ship) when it was launched in 1759 and became Lord Nelson's flagship at the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805. The HMS VICTORY remains in commission at this time. |
